Midnight Confident 
 Some nights the lonely’s only friend

I gaze at him upon no end

The brightest in the midnight sky

I’d meet if I had wings to fly

My hopes and dreams I do declare

Relationship with Christ: What I Believe

I believe in a Relationship with CHRIST not a religion....A relationship determines one's heart, whereas a religion holds to traditions, limitations, and petty divisions amongst denominations. 

Which is more important: A Relationship with Christ or a Religion? 

SO WHAT DO I BELIVE?

Salvations is a FREE gift from God, simply that a FREE gift! I am unworthy of this gift and can do nothing of my own accord to achieve it through "good works". If I had to achieve salvation though "good works" It would no longer be a FREE gift from God. By simply accepting the fact I am unworthy of God's gift, completely putting my whole faith in Christ Jesus as My Personal Savior, and Committing My Life to Him I become a Child of God. 

Titus 3:5 " He saved us, Not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life though the Holy Spirit."

This is not to say that I can live my life however I choose...By Committing my life to Christ I enter a Relationship with HIM!! 

Think of it this way: 

In general, when you're in relationship with a man you want to please him, you want to spend constant time with him, you become In Love with him to where he consumes your thoughts. Typically our physical relationships with men become the #1 priority in our lives so should our relationship with Christ!! NO it is NOT THE SAME because it is not a physical relationship, but it is SIMILAR because it is A SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIP ~ WITH CHRIST!!

American Eagle Ruffled Chiffon Dress

This Dress is Adorable!! I just purchased it from American Eagle originally $39.95 but was on sale for $34.99 not a huge % off but I'm a big believer in that every little bit helps. The Dress is a hot coral color which is on trend for this summer, with a gorgeous open back. The fabric is Chiffon so keep in mind the light fabric, break out those lovely chicken cutlets a.k.a. the invisible self adhesive bra to show off your sexy back. Accessorized with a thin brown belt and lacy earrings it can be dressed up or down with carefully selected shoes. Cute sandals or brown boots would be great for day or spice it up with nude heals. Also changing the accessories to a black belt and black shoes will turn this cute sundress into a great date night outfit.                                                          

Food and Drink: Belle Glos Meiomi Pinot Noir

 

Belle Glos Meiomi Pinot Noir

One taste and you will fall in love with Meiomi (May-oh-mee)!

I love the richness of a red wine at the end of the day, and typically prefer a merlot.  I discovered Meiomi at a local wine bar and fell in love with this broad flavorful wine. This Pinot Noir is very smooth but full bodied with complex fruity flavorings of blackberry & cherry, similar to a merlot. Meiomi is composed of three Californian regions Monterey Country, Santa Barbara, and Sonoma Country which gives this Pinot a rich flavor profile.

A bottle of Meiomi costs about $20.00 and can be found at the local grocery store...I found my bottle at Publix in the Pinot Noir section (may also be under Californian wines). If you pay more than $20 you paid too much so keep looking, I searched a few places and most places carry a bottle for $20.00. Many high-end restaurants will also carry Meiomi however if your looking to purchase a glass with your meal keep in mind this wine will cost you average $12/glass or $45/bottle.

Red wine typically goes with red meat, you probably knew that, but Meiomi can go either red meat or poultry.  Call me crazy but I do love this with a good juicy burger, cheese and crackers, and of course chocolate (if you check out the Belle Glos website they pair it with bbq so I'm not too crazy).

Little Thoughts: Peonies

Waking up to Sunshine streaming though my window, the anticipation of Spring & Summer enabled my daydreaming of flowers. My favorite are Peonies they are both beautiful and romantic but most importantly remind me of home. My mother had a beautiful Peony bush in my front yard and she use to tell me that it takes 2 years to acquire your first blooms, but once you've waited those first years for blossoms Peonies will never let you down. They will come each year with every new year looking more beautiful than the last. Similar to a love story, I desire love to bloom immediately, however the waiting and anticipating for it to bloom into something special may be the best part. For when I start to see the buds of new relationship forming that becomes the most exciting part.
