Proverbs 4:23
"Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life"
This is my favorite verse ~ with LOVE I follow my heart, typically ignoring my thoughts. This is a reminder to myself that it is important for me to guard my heart and not be soooo eager to give it to someone. The man I decide to give my heart to will influence the course of my life. Do I want to cause heartache to myself by not guarding my heart closely and quickly giving it to someone? I need to be careful who I give my heart too. But I need to also know when to let my guard down and open my heart to someone special God has made for me. I may or may not know who He has created for me yet, what I do know is when God is ready for me to know who he is I will. At this point all I can do is rely on God to continue to transform the man He has made for me into the man I need him to be.

Understanding leads my thoughts

Questions I and Every Woman of God needs to Ask herself:
*Do I give my heart to this man?
*Will he protect my heart or destroy it?
*Will he lead me in the right direction?
*Does he have a relationship with God and can he enhance my relationship with God?
*Why has God put him in my life?
*Does this man put my needs, feelings, and wants above his own?
*Can I see a future with this man?
*Can I live without him?
*Would Daddy approve?
